ADVANCED STUDIO: LIGHT, FORM & SPACE

In this advanced studio senior architecture students are challenged to consider the spatial implications of natural light has on the form, use, and habitation of space. Through a series of intense precedent and light studies each students forms their own ideas around how to use a series of lighting strategies. Additionally, each student is encouraged to develop their own plan and thesis.

Corning Glass College of Glass Expansion:

For this project students were given the design brief of developing an expansion for the Corning Glass Museum. Developed on the site of the Glass Museum the new College of Glass will expand the facilities already present at the Museum. This included new classrooms, glass-blowing facilities, a library, and possible on-site dormitories.
